Gebouw-T is a music venue in my hometown of Bergen op Zoom in the Netherlands. It's a small venue that can accommodate around 800 visitors. It is a very modern music venue connected to a training program for stage technicians. The venue relies heavily on volunteers, which creates a very pleasant atmosphere.

Because the venue was celebrating its 10th anniversary, they wanted a campaign that would draw attention to the volunteers. During the initial meeting with the client, they said that 'the volunteers are Gebouw-T.'
This sentence became the foundation for my concept: 'I am T.'
Since all people are different, with their own stories, tastes in music, and unique physical traits, I wanted to reflect this in the styling. You don’t see clothes, only skin. Each volunteer has the logo painted on their face (which was a challenge), and this makeup is unique to each person. One has a more masculine look, another a greasy style, and someone else shines with glitter. The choice of these features was based on interviews I had read about them.
The result turned out beautiful, especially during the exhibition where I presented the photos printed on Baryta paper from Hahnemühle."
